Is famacy free?

Yes. famacy is free to use, with no subscriptions and no hidden fees.

Is my data private?

Yes. Label photos you scan stay on your device; recognized label text is sent to our backend to identify possible medicines. Medicine searches aren't tied to your identity, and we never sell your data to advertisers or data brokers. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

Does famacy have ads?

No. famacy has no ads, ever.

How do reminders work?

At dose time, Famacy can sound an alarm and appear on your lock screen when the required settings are enabled. Doses due together are grouped in one reminder. Mark each dose taken, snooze it once, or skip it. Unanswered doses are recorded as missed after the reminder window ends. Device settings and battery restrictions can delay or prevent alarms.

How does famacy explain what a medicine does?

Open Understand and type a medicine name or scan its label. Check the suggested match, then see what the medicine does, how it works step by step, and a simple summary. You can set a medicine reminder from the explanation screen. This is educational information; always check the label and follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.

Can I manage medicine for my whole family?

Yes. Create family profiles and keep each person's medicines, schedules, and stock separate in the Family tab. You can pause and resume a family member's reminders without deleting their information. Sign in with the same account to sync your family profiles across devices.

Is famacy available on iPhone?

Not currently. famacy is an Android app.

When is famacy launching?

famacy is in final preparation for the Google Play Store. It'll be Android-only at launch.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all cloud data at any time. See Delete Account for how.

Can I use Famacy without an account?

Yes. You can manage family profiles, medicines, and reminders on this device without signing in. Sign in later to sync your data and restore it on another device using the same account. Medicine searches and new explanations need an internet connection.

How do I check past doses?

Use the date controls in Today to review a day's schedule and dose status. You can see taken, skipped, and missed doses and filter the schedule by family member.

Can I track medicine stock and refills?

Enable refill tracking for a medicine and enter its stock details. Famacy tracks remaining stock as doses are marked taken, shows low-stock status, and lets you record a refill to update the amount available.

Where do I change alarm settings?

In Account, use Alarm sound to choose a sound and Alarm volume to adjust the volume. Open Reminder reliability settings to check notifications, precise timing, and lock-screen alarm access on your device.

What if a label scan is wrong?

Check the medicine name against the pack before selecting a result. Try a clearer photo in good light, or type the name instead. Generated explanations can be incomplete or incorrect; ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure.
